Manuel Diaz is a ripper from Chile, he’s been riding Stevens Pass and the Pacific Northwest for years, and this year has a super sick part in the new Absinthe Films movie ‘Dopamine’, online right here for 48 hours only. Check out Manuel’s Interview in the new January Issue of TransWorld SNOWboarding Magazine, be the first to get the mags and subscribe HERE.
Quote from Absinthe Films Director Justin Hostynek “Manuel Diaz is the kind of rider that points his snowboard down-hill and just deals with the consequences as they come up to greet him. At the ripe old age of twenty-four he has attained legend status at Stevens Pass and is the pride of his country of origin: Chile. He certainly has been breaking trail for other Chilean shredders to finally bust onto the international scene. From salt-water barrels, to meat-barrels, and anything he drops into on his snowboard, this Ratoncito is a force to be reckoned with. Last year he gave us a taste in Resonance, where he shared a part with Gigi from footage that was almost all compiled from random contributing videographers (media nightmare!). This year he was on the Absinthe crew for real and spent most of the winter scaring any of the Absinthe filmers that pointed a camera his way. But I still can’t figure out how they fit such an enormous heart into such a regular sized human. If this is what the future of snowboarding looks like, we’re doing pretty well. And if this part doesn’t get you fired up to go ride, you’re probably a skier.”
